What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is also know as TCM - Tradicional Chinese Medicine, and is one of the oldes medical practices since 600 BCE,
that still in practrice nowadays.

Acupuncture - involves the application of special needles at specific points of the body to treat diseases and promote health, these specific point are mapped in the body and are know as meridians.

In TCM - Tradicional Chines Medicine - the body has his own Qi - or natural energy that flows in the meridians, if the energy flow in those mediands is unbalanced or stagnated ,then some symptoms will show as pain, tiredness and weakness,etc

Therefore, the objective of acupuncture treatment is to balance the Qi, when the Qi is balance the body will heal from stress to muscle pain.
