Chinese Herbal Medicine at Acupuncture & Homeopathy clinic.

Chinese herbal medicine is one of the five pillars of Chinese medicine (Acupuncture, Qi Gong, Taichi, and Tuina Massage).

For most health problems, acupuncture alone is very powerful and does not require any other method. However, for certain diseases, it is necessary to support acupuncture with herbal medicine.

Chinese herbalism is fascinating, and the formulas are based on observing the characteristics of minerals and plants and their parts (their stems and their leaves). There are five main characteristics:

The colour (green, red, yellow…)
The taste (bitter, salty, sweet, sweet..)
Nature (hot, cold, neutral, moist)
The configuration (texture, moisture content, shape)
The properties (dispersing, consolidating, purging, toning.)

The mixing characteristics of the roots, plants, and minerals create a unique formula that helps restore health.
