Nowadays tinnitus is a more common disease than we think, affecting 15% of the population.
The noise could vary from person to person, some people will hear like ringing, others like buzzing, or hissing, or chirping, whistling, or other sounds.
The noise could be there all the time or it could be present a few hours and then disappear, however, if the noise is there only for few hours or all day and night, is not easier to leave with tinnitus.
The causes of tinnitus could be quite different, some people could present tinnitus after a viral infection, other due to head trauma, or in more severe cases could be due to certain types or tumors, however also simple stress could be the root of tinnitus. So if you hear a noise in your ear, it is recommended to see your GP, to be sure of the root of the tinnitus. . if the root of that annoying noise you are suffering is due to stress, virtual infection, acupuncture is for you.
